• Security verification data through Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam and abuse

Cookies

CarsInStock uses cookies that are essential to the operation of the platform, including session cookies for authentication and Cloudflare security cookies. Google Analytics also uses cookies to measure site traffic. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Do Not Track

Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals to websites. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry-standard method for honoring these requests across all platforms and services.

Data Retention

We retain your account and listing data for as long as your account is active. Vehicle listings automatically expire after 7 days to ensure fresh inventory. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, including data stored with third-party services such as Cloudinary and SendGrid where technically feasible.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users as required by applicable state and federal law, including the New Jersey Identity Theft Prevention Act and any other relevant data breach notification statutes.

Your Rights

You may request to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us. You can also delete your account through the platform settings.
